Timish V.Salotof M/s.TimishV.Salot & Associates, Chartered Accountants is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a law graduate from the University of Mumbai, a Certified Treasury Manager from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India (ICFAI) and holds Master’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.

He has around 18 years of working experience in industry and about 16 years of working experience in the field of Indirect taxation, having expertise in the field of State Value Added Tax (VAT), Central Sales Tax (CST), Entry tax/LBT-Cess, Service tax, and GST. He also focuses on direct tax matters.

He has worked with various Multinational Companies as well as Large Indian Corporates. He has excellent work experience in Real Estate and Infrastructure. He has worked with various Large entities including Lodha Group (Real Estate), GTL Group (Telecom Infrastructure company). During industry tenure, he has focussed on tax planning and optimisation through guiding on proper structuring of contracts entered into by the businesses. He has successfully lead team in GST Implementation for large corporates.

He works closely with senior management teams of large corporates providing advisory and consultation including contract structuring and decision making, developing &implementation of tax policies. He handlesassessment, adjudication and litigation matters including drafting and appearance before various tax authorities. He appears before various statutory authorities at all levels upto Tribunal.

He has been involved in making representations to the State Authorities and Ministry of Finance in relation to matters pertaining to Maharashtra VAT, Service tax, GST in connotation with the industry associations.
